Pet Emergency Hospital

The Pet Emergency Hospital is a dedicated veterinary emergency service, operating out of UCD Veterinary Hospital, Belfield, Dublin 4. They provide out of hours care to the clients of over fifty member practices in Dublin and the surrounding areas.

Established in 2003, they have a wealth of experience in providing emergency treatment and care to ill and injured pets.

They are available all year round-nights, weekends and bank holidays, when your pet needs us.

They will carry out any treatments or investigations needed and will refer you back to your registered practice the next working day. Clinical histories, xrays and test results are emailed to your vet so that treatment can continue seamlessly.

If your pet is unstable or unfit to travel when discharged, arrangements may be made for transfer to the UCD vet hospital intensive care unit.
